Meet Tank! So this boy came to me today and he is a 75# labrador (used to be 90#) His poor body has given out on him, but he still has life in him! He hasn’t walked on his own for about a year. As you can see from the photos, we put him over a large blow up peanut for supported standing, then as we were filling the water in the underwater treadmill, he just decided to float. We were able to get him walking some in the water with the assistance of it’s buoyancy. Then we just let him float for a while to let him be weightless and let his joints just stretch out and hang. We gave him a Chihuahua sized life vest for his head to rest on when his neck started to get tired. Way to go Tank!

Hi Megan, my name is Linda McMahon. I am an RN of 23 years and am looking to switch gears. My passion is animals and I’ve been thinking about canine massage. My family and I are new to the area as of May 2017. After a bit of research I really don’t see much of a desire in the area for this service sadly. I would love any input you may have regarding this quest. You can reach me at 352-299-5236 anytime after 5:30 during the week as I do work FT in surgery, or anytime on the weekends. My email is [email protected]. Best wishes for a healthy, happy New Year, and thanks again so much.
